Refined, calm and modern. The Milan furniture fair, Salone del Mobile is one of the most important events in the design world calendar. The event is always hectic, with countless brands showing their latest and greatest work to the most influential people in design. Fashion brand COS wanted to continue their presence at the fair for a second year in a way that made them feel relevant to a design audience, and show their new collection in a intriguing environment. From our previous work with COS, we knew the importance of their brand feeling refined, functional and modern, so set about creating an environment that gave respite from the standard frantic, cluttered tradeshow environment of Salone.
We cut through the noise at Salone del Mobile with a bespoke, modular environment
3D printed Atom connector
Reinventing the ‘atom’. The environment, executed by French studio Bonsoir Paris, focused around numerous 3D printed ‘atom’ structures that could be connected by different materials, depending on the functionality needed. COS’ design ethos was mirrored through contrasting tactile materials and finishes constructed in a simple, functional and visually lightweight way to create breathing space for visitors.
Complimentary collateral. We also created collateral such as event invites that complimented the material use and design ethos used in the structures.
